Free Stuff has always been around. Getting them is just a matter of seeking them out. However, with the economy looking oh so bleak, things are financially tighter than they ever were. And with the holidays bearing down on us, it makes finances that much worse. Because of this, most folks are looking for a great bargain on the internet these days. There is no question about it... the best bargain... is a free bargain!

Free, Free Stuff, Freebies, etc... are some of the most popular keywords used on the search engines these days, with some of them producing some of the most profound results. Sites that have or offer tangible giveaways are starting to become the leaders of the pack.

Offering freebies to your web patrons on your website, forum or blog is not only a great marketing tool that helps to boost your website traffic, it also helps to maintain website traffic to your site. But not everybody has something to offer for free. Don't let this minor issue stop you in your tracks. There are plenty of ways of getting around this. Below are just a few...

1. Linking to sites that do offer freebies is probably the best way to give your visitors the opportunity to get something for nothing. It doesn't cost you anything or require anything other than just a link on your website, forum or blog.

2. If you have some cash to invest in giveaways or promotionals... surplus, wholesalers & liquidators of overstock and salvage inventories are the best way to get tons of merchandise for pennies on the dollar.

3. We are firm believers in community networking. Check with local businesses, producers or manufactures in your community to see if they have some dead stock clogging up their shelf or warehouse space. You may be surprised at what you can come up with as a giveaway and you may just get it free too.

4. Be sure to check with your Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development and/or Your local Travel & Tourism Center to see if they have free stuff you can pass out to your visitors.
